The ACA Pipeline is a dedicated workspace in BridgePoint CRM for managing clients who may qualify for Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance coverage. It gives your team a single view of every prospective ACA enrollee — showing where each client stands, who is responsible for follow-up, and how the overall enrollment effort is progressing month to month. Select Pipeline from the left sidebar. The board loads immediately with all active leads visible across the status tabs.
Only users with pipeline access can view this page. If Pipeline does not appear in your sidebar, contact your administrator.

How Clients Enter the Pipeline

Clients enter the ACA Pipeline in two ways: automatically when a qualifying event is detected on their case, or manually by a staff member.

Automatic triggers

The system adds a client to the pipeline when their case reaches one of the following states:
The client has been determined medically needy through the Medicaid program, which may mean ACA coverage is a better fit for their situation.
The client’s Medicaid application was denied. BridgePoint flags them so your team can explore ACA marketplace options.
The client does not meet Medicaid eligibility criteria. The pipeline captures them so they are not lost between programs.
A case manager has explicitly referred the client to the Health Insurance Marketplace for an ACA plan.
An existing benefit is approaching its end date, prompting review of ACA coverage as a continuation option.
The client has been identified as having no health insurance and may be eligible for an ACA plan.
The client is applying only for food or cash assistance. They are flagged so staff can assess whether ACA coverage should also be explored.
The client has expressed direct interest in obtaining ACA health insurance coverage.

Manual addition

A staff member with the appropriate permissions can also add a client to the pipeline directly from the client’s profile or case record.

The Five Pipeline Stages

Every lead in the pipeline sits in one of five statuses. Leads move forward (or back) as your team works with each client.
The default entry status. The client has been identified as a potential ACA candidate but outreach has not yet begun. Your team should initiate contact and confirm interest before moving the lead forward.

Stats Dashboard

Administrators and owners see a summary row at the top of the Pipeline board with four key metrics. These totals are org-wide (or office-scoped) counts across the whole pipeline — they do not change as you switch tabs or page through the table.

Total Eligible For ACA

The count of leads currently sitting in the Eligible For ACA stage. Use this to gauge how many candidates are still awaiting outreach.

Enrolled

The number of clients successfully enrolled in an ACA plan within the selected time window. Use the built-in period selector (see below) to switch between Day, Week, Month, and Year.

Ready To Enroll

The count of leads currently in the Ready To Enroll stage — clients whose portal accounts are set up and who are waiting for an enrollment session.

Total Enrolled Clients

The all-time count of clients enrolled in an ACA plan through the pipeline.

Choosing the Enrolled period

The Enrolled card includes a dropdown that lets you re-scope its count to a different time window. It defaults to This Month.
Counts clients enrolled since midnight today. The card reads Enrolled Today.
The stats dashboard is visible only to users with the Admin or Owner role. Case managers and standard agents see the pipeline table only.
